i never hate cars regardless, its only the drivers and what they do to the cars that i dislike...and occasionaly bash =)

 

The mustang folks hate not just the Z but all imports ..... especially turbo civic hatch hahaha ..... to be honest the Z has the super car look but only runs 14s @ 1/4 mile...it's a bit disappointing.

 

Ya my homie drives those scion tc's the 2.0 version and its a good looking car and very light but come on now, you realy cant compare it to the Z which he always does. His exact words "ill beat you when i but my stage 2 superchager in there" haha wonder what i would do to him when i put my TT.

I’ve seen one of those supercharged TC's, at a clients house. Spent a good 20 minutes talking to him about it b4 I went in and did what I was there to do Never once told him what I drive. He did plenty of ragging on his own car saying he went through 2 transmissions since he had the SC installed and he was thinking of getting something else. Basically it was fun while it lasted but he’s tired of the crap.

As for everyone else let them say their cars are faster blah blah whatever. You can take some satisfaction in the fact that your car was well engineered and not just a big engine in a heavy shell (and yes I realize the Z is a bit chubby herself)

You are whats wrong with car "enthusiasts" Many Z's have run 13's bone stock(record is 13.68 IIRC), I ran 13.77 in only my 2nd pass ever, 13.80 on my first pass ever. While not all will run 13's, its unfair to say its a 14 second car because of non drivers. Real enthusiasts know other cars potential, so go around thinking they run 14's

 

People are always going to hate! There this guy with a 300C that keeps trying to get me to race him for money, I don't even waste my time and gas smoking him. I have had mini vans try to race me, people see a Z and they lose their mind, I think its the sex appeal of the Z and then add my driving and people just go crazy

I agree with the saying if you really like cars then you can appreciate any car that is done right. As for trash talking, i mean cmon, you are going to get it from anything you do that even has a little bit of competition. My baseball team talks trash about other teams, even teams you knwo are better than you, it helps your motivation and your like for your car. What you think ima roll around saying OOOO i bet that mustang is faster than me? No ima say thats a rustang cause thats the funny trash talk. You should be able to take it like a man, and if you lose, take it, if you win, then you talk a lil smack, just dont get tooooo personal with your trash talks.

The only thing i really hate one, are those civics with fart cans, but its not really because its a civic (there are fast ones you and I all both know) but the people with those extreme primer paint huge wings tend to be crazy on the road. My friend and I are goign to eat Mcdonalds, and i dont street race unless its really special situation, like a ferrari where i just wanna see that thing open up, but seriously im just driving around when a civic hatch is squeeling tires behind me diong the 2fast 2 furious thing in the first race. Im like what thheee **** is he diong. He tries to race me, i turn left, he follows and turns left from a straight only lane, and Im turning left into a mcdonalds. The street im on is only 2 lanes, one going each way. So by instinct i check my LEFT side mirror, wihch shouldnt be 100 % necessary because the left lane to me is going the opposite way, but the guy cuts me off FROM THE LEFT LANE going in opposite direction of the intended flow of traffic. I mean since then i keep away from those kind of cars even more.

Eventho I am more of an import guy, i still have respect for people who truly like thier cars and mod it to thier liking, whether its an M3, Vette, Honda, or Rustang Oo /avoids slap haha kidding those cobras are fast.

 

You cant really compare a 350z to a mustang. Look at the recent CarAndDriver article where they compare the two along with a bunch of other cars in the same price class. On the track the Z WALKED on the mustang. The ford had absolutly no chance in hell. Stock for stock, the Z is MUCH better. The Z is a sports car while the mustang is a sporty one. Anyone with common sense should tell you that.

why don't you put up some links to the other car forums where i have picked arguements. i know of one that i posted ,it was a link to some ppl talking trash on the z , i just thought you guys would like to see it.

I can recognize characters.. But I don't know what the phase really means.

 

The reason why people hate the Z so much is because we attract more attentions then they do. Think about all the other cars that are in the same price range. Hmm.. Evo, Mustang(even a V8), STI, etc... It's obvious that our cars look so much better and can pick up more chicks while they're drooling in their rides.

 

All high end/desirable/niche cars will get hated on. I personally dont hate or bag on other cars, only the idiot drivers who think they belong in F1.
MI 35th put it correctly "Too each his own".

I love my ride and could care less what anyone else thinks, I bought it for me.

If you really wanna get into it, it's hated by people who own other similar cars.

It's the same concept of sports teams and their fanbases. You gather with people of the same interest, and you feel rivaled by people of similar, yet different interests.
