Default I miss my car Damn it!

So i sent my Z to the dealership a few dayts ago to get a few minor issues fixed

along with an oil consumption test, my second gear grinding, and re-adjusting

my front bumper and hatch because of gaps and bad alignments.

I called today and theyre dropping an new tranny into my car and a new clutch!

Its an 06 Z and my baby has only 4200 miles on it. they said they dont want to

open the tranny to see what the problem is so theyre just going to give me a

new tranny. the guy i gave my car to at Service said im going to give you a

new clutch while im at it. I was like hell ya why not lol.

On monday theyre sending my baby out to the body shop to get the body

work done. now the only thing that is bugging me is that i have to break in all

these new parts in. And what else that sucks is that i got my intake on the

same day i sent my car in so im itching to put it on when i get my puppy

back. all i know is, its raining and im missing out on all the drifting i could have

been doing. im just stuck E-Braking with the rental lol.

Thought ide share my story and see if anyone else had issues like these and

how their dealership has treated them with car issues.

Wow, that sucks. My 03 has about 37K on it and I just had a weird grind the other day with the clutch fully depressed under hard acceleration into 5th gear. It's worrying me a little bit and of course I'm out of warranty.

Damn! Hopefully the dealer will take car of things (looks like they already have) and you will have your car back. Good to see that the dealer did save some time on the tranny.

well im just glad that they actually didnt put up a front. it surprised me that i

called and they told me that they are giving me a new tranny along with a

new clutch whlie theyre at it. and i no for a fact that the clutch is not

covered my warranty so that was a surprise itself. but then i know the

reason they are being so nice to me is because no one was giving a sh*t

about helping me till i went ahead and spoke with the service department

manager who happend to be armenian just like myself.

Always nice to have an "in". Especially at a dealership!

I doubt you are out of drivetrain warranty. Check your in service date of your car. My early 03 Z has an in service date of Sept 2002, So my Drivetrain warranty is good until Sept 2007. It's 5yr/60,000 miles.
