Not bad...I'll just look like a moderate retard with my Volks on the driver's side and the Moteigi's on the right. Oh well, its only for a month.

Your wheels are truly going to match your taillights.

Seriously, sorry about your loss. Get better tires the next time around and pick up some of the 06' LED brakelights. They are much better than those rice cakes.

sorry to hear about this... about 2 weeks ago we had some snow while i was in work (suprise snow at that or i woul dhave taken the truck) and i still had my bald stock tires on. i gave it jsut a lil too much gas around a corner and i drifted the corned hard and i was jsut about to have it corrected and i hit a pot hole throwing my car into and up on the curba nd then off. thank god the msot i got was a few scratches on bottom of my front bumper, which i will be replacing cause the owner before me drilled a lisenceplate frame into, and i can't get over how ugly WY plates look on red, or on the Z period.

I did the same thing in my previous 05 mustang gt but it it was in the rain..i punched it a little...i wasn't even turning and my back end fishtailed and I rammed the curb on the bridge. I was so lucky I thought I scraped the body..but i had wide aftermarket bullits and both my right sided wheels just hit..bent rims..but I also bent the rear axle...lucky i didn't get body damage.

I was not happy with him...heck, I'm still ticked at him...I'll be moving my insurance to another agency & company.

Anyways, a guy at Discount Tire (where I got my Kuhmos) hooked me up today with a super sweet deal. He's giving me 4 Motiegi (sp?) wheels (18") that are on overstock at about 70% off and throwing in two free Kuhmos Ecstas ASXs so my tires will match all around. Not bad...I'll just look like a moderate retard with my Volks on the driver's side and the Moteigi's on the right. Oh well, its only for a month.

Oh, and for those of you busting on "bad driving"...it happens. Not all of us are of the skill level of Mario Andretti like you evidently are. I've done motorcross and am pretty darn comfortable behind the wheel of sports cars...but mistakes happen. Just gotta learn from them.

Oh, and I like my lights. I got them because they're going to go great with the paint scheme I have in mind down the road. Although, the JDM LED tail-lights are catching my eye.

My sympathy extended to those who have found themselves in similar situations...
Same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago. It just seems like the cold weather and/or rain making driving the z very dangerous. I'm changing tires and taking it easy when it isn't "warm" outside. My damage wasn't as much as yours but my control arm was bent far worse. It cost $360 for me to get fixed. Good luck with the fix.

Well, I've finally got my Z back. I picked it up Wednesday with the two temporary replacement wheels. What's funny is the Nissan service rep told me that when the wheel repair guy came to pick up my two messed up Volks that, the wheel repair guy said (suprisingly) that it won't take 4-6 weeks and a trip to California to fix them...he'll have them back to me by this Friday!! Huh?! It turns out that the Volks aren't chrome plated...they're highly polished lips! It's a good news/bad news sort of thing. Good in that I get my cherished Z back to normal sooner and the wheel fix is quick. Bad in that I went and purchased new wheels (albeit cheap ricer wheels)...good thing I got an amazing deal on them. Anyways, all is working out just fine now.

Props to Grubb's Nissan Service Dept. for great customer relationship approach & service. I'll post pics of the wheels when I get them back. Peace out...
