Default Want to get my Dad something for his Z.

Just wondering what a good present would be for my dad for 350Z Aniversary Edition.

I'm in Sacramento, Califronia and he's over in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania so he does have to deal with the cold. Just a heads up if there's anything in that direction I can do.

He's not into modding the car, but he does know his was around and engine.
I have about $200.
I was thinking Jim Wolf Pop Charger.
Would appreciate some other ideas.

If he is not into modding then I don't about the JWT Pop. Maybe something visually pleasing like a nice Nismo Shift **** plus a OEM Z Key chain?

Default Christmas present for Dads Z ?

I was just wondering what a good present would be for my dad for 350Z Anniversary Edition. He's not into modding the car, but he does know his way around an engine. He has told me one story already of some kid in a Camero pulling up beside him on the turnpike in Pennsylvania, and him going WOT and leaving him behind. He recently has put it in the garge for winter, so he has some time to tinker with it. I’d love to give him some sort of performance upgrade.

He doesn't want anything to intense like APS twin turbo upgrade, or anything.
Something simple that he could install under and hour would be ideal.
Right now I’m thinking about the ‘Jim Wolf Pop Charger’.
I would appreciate some other ideas if you guys have any.

What?
I think what he means is his father works on cars, probably repairs and stuff like that but isn't into extracting extra hps.

If he doesn't have a radar detector, try that.

Two threads huh. Why not. Since you brought up the winter subject, Why not get him a Z cover for the car. I am storing my car during the winter and it's been in the garage since October. It is gathering a lot of dust and I wish I would have bought a cover for the car. I saw one in the Z booklet I got from the dealership.

All great ideas, you could get him a 350Z shirt or mug. Or one of the videos that chronicles the Z's history. Appeal to his older intellectual side.
JWT popcharger might be a nice project you two could do together. He might appreciate the fact that you chose to get a gift where you two can put time in it together. As a father, I know that would impress me.
For the cheap and easy, shift *****, carbon fiber dash overlay, stuff like that. I think you hit it on the head with your first idea though.

I think the pop charger would be an excellent present, he'll love the new sound of his 350z. I say go for it, its not like your gonna be buying him a gears or cams, so I dont think he'll mind that "mod" LOL I love mine

All this talk about a pop charger and I don't even have one! Ok, since me and MotoTek are most probably going to buy a pop chargers within the next day or two haha, where is the cheapest place we can get one brand new? I checked Ebay, not a bad place, from JWT website is way too expensive. Any other places?
