Tire grip issue....
It seems this car has a hard time keeping its butt gripped to the ground. It acts a lot like my 240se did. Is this a problem with the car being too light in the back or a problem with the tires? I have the 17"s and this problem is with dry pavement.

I've been driving in rain, 32 degree mornings and dry conditions and have yet had a slip out, where as my old mustang would do it at even slow acceleration, I think its a matter of driving

the Z has plenty of power, there is nothing wrong with the weight balance of the car since its only 3% off perfect, weighted to the front. however tread sucks, no arguement there, but its not impossible to keep it stuck... just dont drop the clutch higher then 2500RPMs or so, and be smooth about applying the throttle in 1st and second.
