If your dyno numbers are corrected the weather should not have an appreciable effect.

yeah, that's a very good point. I badly need a reflash, hope you're right!

Also, it's SAE corrected. - shoot, now I think about it, not sure if the 2nd one is corrected! gonna go home and see the dyno sheet again.

For your mods with no headers, no cams and no tune, no way you are dynoing in the 280s. What kind of Dyno, a dynapack? we all know those read reeeeaaaallly high.

well i know this may be stupidly obvious, and you probably did. But yo did change the oil between then right? I know dumb question but you never know.

Edit: whoa are you NA? i just saw the other posts...if you are NA without internals done...i think your dyno is high. If you say basic boltons minus headers, meaning you have FI..then ok nevermind.

it was on a dynapack but that's irrelevant to me right now, as I'm tracking power output with the same dyno machine. I've gained over 20whp with tp, exhaust and pulley and I've used synthetic on my last oil change.

Never seen one of those dynos before. Why does it say flywheel horsepower? Does it estimate flywheel horsepower? If yes that would make more sense.

nah, it's whp, but they take out the wheel first. You get more accurate reading that way.. this dyno's common, dude.

Oh don't tell me it's one of those things where they bolt those boxes to your wheels? Unless you're driving down the street with no wheels it's not gonna give you an acurate reading. Next time you need a tune get your car on a mustang dyno.

dude, quit yapping like you're a know-it-all. dyno is just a tool to track your power gains amonst other things, geez.

Fine. Your car makes 280 RWHP with those mods.

That is the place (Church Automotive) where one member on here, as well as in Evans-tuning talked about that particular dynapac always reading higher than most other in the nation.

I have to agree as well that for the amount of mods there is no way that should be at 280rwhp, sorry. Another thing odd that your AFRs are so lean, most of the 350z that come across our shop bone stock have a richer AFR than yours at the moment. Get that sorted out.

that's a good read and you should read it yourself sometimes and not worry so much about #s. I'll be getting a reflash soon to richen things up.
from that link:

"A dyno is a tuning tool. The purpose of a dyno is to simulate real world conditions to help tuners. What is important is to see how change made to the vehicle affect it's power output. A gain is a gain, a loss is a loss, period. Numbers are only good for pissing matches and bench racing."
