Yes, but keep in mind, for the performance chip to work properly with additional mods, it must be sent back to the manufacturer for "fine tuning".

We should have a mandatory seminar for newer members once a week on stuff like this.

That's not what the Redline chip is. The Redline "chip" is a resistor that goes on your IAT sensor to make your ECU think the intake air is colder than it really is. This causes your ECU to add more fuel. This can give a slight bump in HP if your car was running lean, however if your car is running rich (as most cars do), this will actually cause a loss of HP.

Whether it works or not doesn't really matter. The point is, this guy is selling a $0.05 resistor in a $1.00 hobby box for $30. Yes, he's ripping people off, but if people are going to be that stupid and buy something without doing any research, they kinda had it coming. Gotta admit, this guy's got a good thing going. Even after eBay and Paypal fees, this guy's making at least $25 profit for every unit he sells. Looking at his feedback, he sells 4 or 5 a day. That's $100 profit, 7 days a week. He's sold about 5000 of them so far (and that's just the people who left feedback). He's made at least $125,000 selling these.

If moneys not really a problem, try the unichip plug n' play ecu piggyback, it puts out up to 9% more hp, and its safer.
