I just saw this commercial on TV. There is going to be a new mini series in February on the SPEED channel making a reality series out of the Forzamotorsports 2 XBOX 360 game. Looks like the 350Z will be featured.

I think its a cool concept. If SPEED channel walked up to any of us and asked "hey do you wanna drive in our new mini series" we'd all say "hell yes".
As far as the game, I enjoy it. The total physics package is really good, and makes for the most realistic video game driving experience I've found.
I've heard from a couple of people that the link won't work.... works for some not others... I'll try and find the webpage again and post a different link.

yea for me i could never give into forza , believe it or not on my hi def widescreen i prefer to play grandturimo 4. To me a much better game

 

My problem with GT4, is that you can race realistically if you want. But, the fact that there is no damage makes the game pretty easy. You can go into each corner too fast and just bump off any cars in front of you.

In GT4, you can cut corners to improve laptimes too. Forza makes you slow down, just like you would if you ran off on certain tracks. Forza also penalizes you for going off the track so you can't cut corners to shave laptimes in time attack.

 

Links don't work here either WTF? I get sound but no picture...so it sounds good, lol. Never played Forza, but GT4 is just meh in my opinion, great graphics though, and very realistic for the most part.

 

yea, i prefer the game dynamics in GT4 take for instance on my sound system the 350z sounds like a 350z. i do admit about the bouncing cars thing, but i have yet to find a racing game that captures all the sounds and wind ambience , of actual racing . Especially on my hi def wide screeen i load forza and its almost there as far as car graphics but, i dunno its not as fun nor engages me into the game as gt4. For some reason also forza doesnt use 5.1 dd surround as well, as when a car is behind u with gt4 i hear a car behind me riding my ***. In forza its more like reg backround noise very none realistic. Its a great game. but as far as me being intrested to race. I love Gt4. Cant wait to see, what happened in the ps3 version . Theres a reason that the grandturismo series out sells ever other racing game 10-1 lol. i just wish they allowed modded cars for the vs play man.

 

I'm pretty excited for Forza, and from all the trailers I've seen they've featured the 350z almost exclusively which makes me want to play it even more. I'd like to get one of those racing wheels but some of them are like 200 bucks and that's kinda steep for something I'll only use on like two games.

There isn't even a contest between Forza and GT4. Forza is without a doubt the best racing game ever made, period. The graphics look MUCH better than ANYTHING gt has to offer. The cars are extremly customizable. The sound is spot on. The physics are perfect, there are no bumper cars like GT4, which really is a crappy game on its own. The online is Forza is amazing. The customizable paint and on car graphics are great and unique. The tracks look better and play better. Cars crash and have actual damage that actually affects the way your car handles and accelerates. You can mod your engine to sh** and pretty much blow it on WOT and really mess things up further down the race. Plus you can play it on arcade mode which is what gt4 is, an arcade game. There are better cars. Basically, Forza owns GT4 in every single catagory, period. Well, as long as i got that off my chest. Can't wait for Forza 2, its gonna be amazing!

 

to bad it doesnt sell half of what grant turismo does lol. Just like the system. But i cant wait for the game it features a 350z **** im all over it man. I kinda regret my 360 though. But it will be enough to keep me until ps3 gets more available. I wonder how much farther there gonna take that challenge. And i hope they get the Z sound right. The trailer looks amazing. Also gt is a simulation game not a arcade game get it right.

Really? I've been pretty pleased with the 360, more so than any other system I've ever had. Xbox Live is setup so nice. I'd like to try to get my hands on a wii though(no pun intended), it looks like nice time.
