Red face Just got my 3rd mailing

Pretty boring.
Another black 3 fold, just like the first one. It says basically the same thing but with a three month window for delivery listed.

That is the confirmation letter...If you have already received one, I don't know why you received another one.

Well,
I have a confirmation letter that I received originally. Then I received my packet of photos and CD. And now I received a third mailing. This one looks almost exactly like the first but the words are slightly different. (And I have not made any changes to my order.)

I hope you are correct, that this mailing is just a quirk and not the "third" mailing that we have heard about.

Anyway....dealer still says I am go for last week of Aug or first week of Sept delivery, so I am happy.

That's odd. I was just told by NNA C.A. this week that the next mailing we received would confirm build date, VIN and delivery timeline. So you're saying that it's the exact same shell (full-color piece) as the first confirmation with all of your vital stats listed with a delivery window. Are you referring to the August-October text at the bottom of the pre-printed shell, or is this an addition to the overprint portion?

From the fact that ZISME says this is NOT the third mailing and that the third mailing should include "build date, VIN"....this must not be the "third mailing". Just some kind of quirk I guess. Anyway....glad to hear I am still dur another mailing....one with real info.

The reason people are receiving this again is the marketing group handling that mailer is reprinting them for those of us (pointing at myself) that never received the first.

This is good news for people like me that never recieved the first.

Everyone please do not go off on this, but I never said that there would be a third mailing that would give you the "build date, Vin". The post above states that it came from NNA C.A., I am trying to check to see if someone did give out this info (droidekaus... if you can give me details I would appreciate it). There is no third mailing being planned by our National Office. I have seen where it has been reported that all pre-sell customers would receive a mailing by the end of this month giving them the build date and Vin#. This is not possible...no pre-sell Z's have a vin# yet and only a small portion of the pre-sell Z's will have a Vin# by the end of the month. It will be several months before all pre-sell units have vin#'s. We are working on a communication plan to all our dealers to stress the importance of communication to their pre-sell customers regarding estimated delivery information and we are confident you will be hearing something soon.

A stich in time saves nine... thanks ZISME.

But this is not to say that an individual dealership might not send something with the same info. My dealer told me there is a preowners manual that I was going to get that had the tracking #, expected devlivery date (or range) and VIN. maybe blowing smoke up my skirt...we'll see.

Please give me your order details so I can see why you haven't received a letter.

ZISME, wish I had my reference number or the individual's extension in front of me, but I don't. I can tell you her name was Michelle and she was very courteous and was as helpful as possible. I asked her specifically to contact the South Central regional office on my behalf as they wouldn't let me through in order to enquire about my delivery status since my dealer had been less than helpful to that point. She specifically said that pre-orders would receive another mailing outlining the details of delivery and I may have put words in her mouth by saying, "that includes a VIN, too?" to which she said, "Yes."

BTW, I got so fed up with my dealer today that I phoned and asked to speak to the Sales Manager. I told him that I had felt abandoned by the original salesman who had made NO EFFORT to keep informed of any updates after taking my deposit including my having to go through another salesman to get my tracking number. I will tell you that after our conversation my original salesman was on the phone almost immediately confirming the existence of my Z on the inventory sheet with a scheduled Sept '02 delivery.

Sorry for stirring the pot and many thanks for clearing up mis-information!

Thanks.... I've sent an advisory to our CA....not sure how some of these comments happen. Glad you were finally able to get somewhere with your dealer.

Well let the record show that I to received a second confirmation letter in the mail yesterday (Thursday). I didn't get to excited about it, just figured NNA screwed up. The wording was exactly the same as the original.
