Default DONT buy from thezstore.com, horrible customer svc

So i purchased my JWT PopCharger on Dec02 from thezstore.com(Motorsports industries). it was a friday, and i paid an extra 80$ for saturday delivery. so i paid close to 200$ just so I could have it for a weekend project.

i asked the rep to send me an email when it was shipped with a tracking number and he said sure. Less than one hour later, my card had already been charged for the purchase but at the end of the day no call/email came with the tracking number. So saturday rolls around and im anxiously waiting for fedex. needless to say, FedEx never came. i called fedex and they said no shipment was scheduled for me at all for the next 4 days.

i had to wait till monday to get these jokers on the phone, and the customer rep said they had mistakenly shipped out my PopCharger via GROUND. WTF?? how do you mistake, OVERNIGHT SATURDAY DELIVERY with GROUND??

so what could i do? i spoke with Andy(i think) of customer service, and he said they would reimburse me the entire shipping cost right away(dec 5th). so now im thinking, hey this place is allright...let me give em a second chance.

today is dec 21, and i still have no refund whatsoever for the shipping charges i paid on soemthing that was delivered late. not even a partial refund for the difference between ground and overnight saturday delivery.

DONT TRUST THIS SHOP, they lied about calling me with the tracking #, they lied about giving me a refund, they lied about calling me back to confirm my refund was processed.

Maybe they sent your refund via ground, too.

You waited another two weeks to figure out they hadn't refunded you and didn't call them back? Sure, they screwed up, but you need to keep on top of things, too; **** happens and things fall through the cracks. Hope you get it all straightened out.

Just dispute the charge on your CC and be done with it. Not sure I would pay $80 for overnight shipping to start with - install is like 1 hour tops. Must have had a boring weekend in store. j/k

^^Agreed with MustGoFastR.

Edit: Not even sure why you would pay an $80 shipping fee on a $100 product????

I"ve purchased parts from them before. Never had any problems or what so ever. In fact, i'm thinking about ordering more parts from them as well. You just need to keep on top of things with them as the holiday season is near, things do get very busy.

I've never had a problem with them. I always get things here very fast with average shipping prices. I've ordered a good deal of stuff from there. It's a busy time for orders and mistakes happen. It sucks, but it can be sorted out.

They sent you what you ordered. They said they would refund the shipping. Did you try calling them again about the refund? It's holiday time and people are busy. I have to assume you aren't their only customer. I think you are overreacting. It's not like they said tough $hit and don't come back. Just call them again before you start blasting them. You may cause them a loss of business for nothing. I've read stories of horrible customer service on this site and your story is nothing compared to the others.

The fact that he asked for a confirmation of shipping and didn't get one was the first prob.
The fact that it was promised to be overnighted and wasn't was the 2nd prob.
The fact that he is due a full refund for shipping from more than 2 weeks ago when it is an almost instantaneous transaction is the 3rd prob.

I don't think he's overreacting at all. I think this company dropped the ball 3 times w/ a single customer. That shts not acceptable and we as consumers shouldn't put up with it. There are plenty of other distributors who are more than willing to have our business.

I tried to purchase a Shifter boot there and they sent me a emai after I placed an order. They said it would take a week or more to ship out. I immediately cancelled my order.

I just ordered a polo shirt and they said they had the shirt in-stock. An hour later or so, I get an email saying they were out of stock and the computer system had messed up with the inventory.

Aaron I think his name is, said they had the next size up or I could wait two or more weeks for the size I wanted. I said go ahead and ship out the next size and asked if he could bump up the shipping option to the next one at no charge, which was the 2-3 day. I get an email saying he'll overnight it and it should be here by Friday.

Today I get home and I have a package from Motorsports. I recieved the shirt a day earlier then expected.

I was very pleased the way my situation was handled and I'll recomend them to anyone.
