350z Owners in Northern VA!
hey whats up everyone. aight this is my first post, simply because i dont have my 350z yet, and ive been doing more research and reading, etc...Im planning on buying within the next 6 months hopefully, (i've been working and saving like crazy) but anyways this post is for anyone who (preferably) has experience with any of the Nissan dealerships in the Northern Virginia area. to be specific, the closest dealership to me is Brown Nissan in Arlington, anyone heard good/bad things about it? I'm just trying to get a good start on my 350z...
i'm sure i will have lot more posts on here as times goes on, but theres always a ton of info on this forum, i love it.
thanks
drew
(ps, i know i posted this same message in the Dealers section, but I put it here hoping I might get quicker responses)

Howdy whitelight,
Currently, my recommendation is to forget dealing with anyone in the D.C. area. I have one word for you regarding buying a Z:
EBAY!
Check out this thread:
https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....668#post245668
There, you will find a few comments about local dealers. Also, there is a link to my buying experience using Ebay. I am extremely happy with the price and treatment I received, even though I had to go to Georgia to get it.
Before you buy ANY new car, I strongly recommend checking out this website:
http://carbuyingtips.com
This is a bible on what is a fair price for a new car, and what you need to know to get exactly that. The spreadsheets ROCK!
Lastly, I posted the exact prices of the cars and the options that the DEALER pays. Using these will help you calculate your asking prices. (I cant remember which forum I posted them, but you can find it using the search function).
Best wishes on your journey to Z.

whitelight,
Are open to a used one? I'm probably gonna sell mine this spring. I really enjoy this car, but I'm feeling tapped out each month with the payments (I own three cars). I'm finding it hard to justify keeping this fair weather toy, so I'm thinking about selling it & buying some cheaper toys (motorcycle).
-Silverstone Performance 6MT
-Charcoal interior, aluminum kick plates, 350z floor mats
-Only ~4500 miles since delivery on 9/17/02
-Nissan 6/75,000 extended warranty
-Garaged (spends more time there than on the road)
-Never on snow/salt covered roads
-Only caught in the rain twice
I'm in no rush to sell, but PM me if you are interested...
-Mike
