I have seen that before on this forum, they were building it not long ago I think. Its quite a beautiful Z, lots of money in that.

that Z was built by CarV2 in delaware, so its theirs(or the owners i guess) i saw it at the philly autoshow last year and its pretty bad ***...the guy was pretty cool too, i talked to him for a few mins about it, i forget his name though.

its up on ebay now too, with a BIN of 60k but i dont think theyll get that much

the gastank is missing..so i guess it has something to do with fuel?? never seen this before

That's an aftermarket fuel system with surge tank and external pump. I think AAM makes that.

damn, thats nutty looking. whats the benefit of that? does the engine just need more fuel pressure or something?

yeah when you pushing the motor that hard on turbos yes...you need a crazy *** fuel system

350z's don't have a trunk. That is why the surge tank is designed to be under the car (above the diff to avoid contact with the ground). This is the safest way. The factory fuel tank is still intact and functional. One in-tank walbro 255 feeds the surge tank and the bosch "44" sends the fuel up front. It is the only way we have found to have the volume necessary and reliable pressure (no fluctuation like the intank walbro set ups).
