I understand its like calling me chinese, but taiwan and china speak same language, xcept for Hong Kong who speak cantonese.

So? When the pilgrims came to America, you don't see them calling themselves English people or whatever anymore, or did they ever...?
I'm Taiwanese, but I speak the Chinese language, just like an American who speaks English. I'm just trying to make a comparasion because I see that this situation's pretty similar to that of the pilgrims.
