My all-time favorite was the comment by a little kid in my in-laws' neighborhood. He walked up and shyly said, "What is it?" When I told him, he said, "My mom has a sportscar too. It is that black S2000 (points to open garage door). But this is sooooooo much cooler."
To kids on their bikes once followed me into the gas station in our neighborhood and did a rapid ride-around the car, with enthusiastic nods and "Sweet car!" comments following right after.
I've lost count of kids' reactions on the road.

two kids were riding bikes along the road and i passed them going the opposite direction. I glanced in my review mirror after and one of them was still staring at my car over his shoulder as he drifted into the opposite lane. I was like "crap! my car is going to kill some little kid without even touching him!" Luckily it was in a 25mph zone with very little traffic.

i was coming home from an auto cross one sunday afternoon and i still had my racing numbers on the car. i guess that with the nismo graphics really made it stand out. i saw a kid maybe 10-11 years old in the car infront of me take a pitcure of my car from the back seat while we were going down the highway

I get kids all the time as well...those are the best compliments.
Even before the Fast and the Furious and all the video games like NFS Underground...kids were the most enthusiastic when they saw the Z.
They have no shame or none of that "I'm going to pretend to ignore the sportscar bs."
They know what looks and sounds good to them and they're not afraid to tell you.

I just got a compliment from a maybe 17 or 18 yr old guy driving a yellow GTi. Funny thing is, i was saying to myself, damn thatr car is sweet. If it was RWD id be all over it. 2.0turbo!

Its funny that the little kids know more about the car then their parents! "Look mom a 350z" while the parents are dragging the boy by one hand is the scene I always get.

I've had some younger teens staring at my car as I drove through a dodge dealership of all places(was looking for a beater car) Then they said the dreaded "Does it have a TURBO?"

My son's younger brother (not mine) who is 5yo is so into cars it's almost scary! He can name just about any car you show him; make/model and sometimes the year range. He tells me his favorite car is the s2000 and his 2nd is the z, then he always tells me sorry after that.

I get the little kid repsonses from time to time, but since ive had my car (a little over a month) I havent had too many reactions. although when Im in a parking lot and im getting out and heading towards my car, younger and old ppl always stare. its great. But there is one Z that i know down in Santa monica that always gets attention. its silver with black out taillights and a veil body kit. i believe. anywho. yeah...

I get compliments all the time from the future gold diggers of america (aka, little girls) and some boys too, its cute. But its even better when i get it from the M.I.L.F's that are with them :P
And mine is stock too, i just bought it. I cant wait untill i start hooking it up to see what kind of complements i get.

Yesterday I was waiting for the lady next to me at the corner store to back out so I could. One of her boys in the back seat, maybe 6 or so, was jumping around trying to look at the car. Then I saw it, he had a 1:18 scale of the orange Z from Tokyo Drift. He kept pointing at his toy, then at the car. Made me laugh. I thought it was pretty cool he put 2 and 2 together.
