I was really considering trading in my '03 for the '07 but w/ only 268 lb-ft of torque I'll most likely pass andmake more power from my '03. 274 lb-ft FTW!!!

I haven't seen any stats yet for the 07. Haven't really looked yet either. I am considering trading my 03 in for an 07 if I can get a San Marino Blue GT with nav. Right now I think my car performs very closely to an 06 or 07 so I don't think ti would be worth it. Plus I've already got a Nismo exhaust, spacer and thinking about ECU tuning.

They didn't make the hood for cosmetic purposes, it's functional. The dual intake system sits higher than our manifold, therefore you need a bulge in the hood for clearance.

It would be more cost effective to just buy bolt-ons for your 287 or REVUP motor and tune it well. You will yield the same if not more hp.
