clutch issues at 998 miles... wtf?

That's exactly what I was thinking. Maybe he left the e-brake on or one of his calipers were stuck.

guys its all good, it was just the noise caused by the throwout bearing and as far as the smell goes i dont know but its now non-exsistent, it must of been something else by me, im just too good to burn clutch like that . Thanks for the help!

god i love this car and driving it is the worst addiction... worse than drugs :P. Bought it 3 weeks ago at 18 miles and im already at 1020 DD

I had a plastic grocery bag melted to my exhaust once. That damn thing smelled like burnt clutch and burnt brakes all rolled into one. Just terrible...

500 miles after I got mine, my stock clutch went out, literally completely busted, and my flywheel cracked. Get JWT clutch, flywheel, its cheaper then stock nissan parts :P and performance better

Yep and voids your Nissan Warranty for powertrain
at least thats what Nissan will say!!!!!! haha

I can one-up that... I ran over am exposed deer-carcass in the middle of the highway lane at around 70mph... smeared blood/guts on exhaust is NASTY.
