Wow, this thread asked if anyone was unhappy, and everyone responded to the wrong question.

+1 haha serious.

It's going to be five plus pages of how much people love their colors. No ****!!! Otherwise you wouldn't have bought it right??

The ONLY time I'm unhappy with my Z is when I go to a car meet and see like two or three other Silverstones. Sometimes I wish I had a louder color like red, or blue.

When my car was stock, people would say "Nice color!" but I always hated that. I thought: If color is the only thing that caught people's eye, the rest of my car is probably boring.

The Z is not stock anymore, so I get "Nice car" or "I love how your car looks". No more mentioning of the color....now I'm happy.

all cars i've owned before were Black.

So i was looking around town for a Black 03/04 350z Touring.
found one at a Mercedes Dealer.... they wanted bout 28,999 for it

04 Z with 28k miles.

so i was like let me shop around a little more.

found my 03 Z which is Silverstone with 38k miles... for an amazing price.
so i ended up gettin the Silverstone.

Old car was black so I already understood what was involved with that color. DB looked good but to me the up keep is not that far off from black. Ended up getting Silverstone. Beautiful color. The metallic in the paint makes a big difference. I just wish that the Silverstone was a true Silverstone..ie darker like the IS300s. They should have called it metallic grey or something.

I got the color i wanted, Daytona Blue! Its beautiful but for some reason im having a hard time finding a kit i like that will look good in blue. For some reason, even though i love blue the most, to me its the hardest color to mod cause alot of kits seem like it would look strange if they were blue... ... Mayde im just weird!

I have always been a silver sports car guy, so CS was the way to go for me.....almost every car (for the exception of 1 blue car) I have owned has been silver.

I like my redline. I love Black too but its too difficult to keep clean. Especially since I don't have a garage.

Yeah the IS300 is more of a charcoal or graphite color. "Silverstone" is actually a name of a race track in the U.K. (like Daytona in the states). Nissan replaced the lighter gunmetal or diamond graphite with the name "Silverstone".

I've always liked that darker graphite color too, and wish Nissan offered it for the Z...however throughout the years I've seen alot of Altimas, Accords and Civics coming in that darker graphite color and I'm sort of glad Nissan left it off the Z.

I still think the Graphite Gray EVO is probably my favorite car color ever. I love it x10.

Did anyone actually read the title for this thread? He is asking if anyone wishes they got something else, not who is proud of the color they ended up with.

Do you know what a question is? Here's the question ---> "Anyone pick a color that they either wanted or had no choice and ended up regretting it?"

A question can produce a response of positive, negative or indifferent. Here's an example,

- "Hey Jacques, are you having a bad day?"

Now, depending on the type of day Jacque is having, he can respond in one of three ways.

1. "Yes, I am."
2. "No, I'm having a good day, thank you."
3. "I'm a little indifferent about the day so far."

I really hope this has cleared things up for you.
