Default pulling to the right..... revisited

Been having an issue of pulling to the right ever since new.

Nissan dealership cannot check it cause I have 19" wheels and thier equipment only allows up to 17" wheels.

So I take it to a very reputable shop here in town. They check it and tell me all the numbers are within spec. He says the reason for the pulling is the caster is equal on both sides. He says the proper way is to have a tad more caster on the left side to promote a very slight pull to the left to counteract the road crown.

Due to the 350Z having NO caster adjustment he said he cannot correct the issue. This really ticks me off. Why did Nissan not allow for caster and camber adjustments?? WTF!

Who else is having pulling issues? and if you are have you had it fixed somehow?

I have a VIN xxxxxx165, and it's built around 7/02. I have the pull to the right problem BIG TIME, and dealer can't find any solution to it.. On top of that, I also have feathering problem, and bouncing rides...

Now I just wished I didn't jump the gun and ordered the first year.. should've waited for second year...

Most of these problems are fixable with aftermarket parts, but why spend another $1000 - $2000 to have it fixed when it's under warranty? anyway, not a happy camper here..

what is this term feathering issues?

Well like the previous user stated, the alignment are in specs... It just the 350z isn't equiped to adjust the campers...

As far for the boucing ride, this is a sport car... The car is pretty low to the ground and it will bounce. If u say ur car is bouncy, compare it to the lowered honda and acuras. They are at least 3x more worser even with installed adjustable coilovers.

I also had the right pull. Went to dealer and they put on new front tires, did an alignment and the problem was pretty much fixed!

I supsequently replaced my original touring rims and tires with the track rays and S-03s's and the issue is still gone.

No pll here anymore. Vin #37XX.

I have a pretty good pull to the right as well.

You say they put new front wheels? Was this for free? Was the alignment for free also?

Default not me..

I have VIN#957... when the steering pump / rack and pinion were replaced under warranty, they performed an alignment... before this issue, I had the same pulling to the right issue and the bouncy ride at high tire pressure. I have none of these problems, I am running on the stock 18" performance/touring 6mt wheels.

And believe me, I have checked intently to notice the "bouncy" ride or alignment issues, but after the warranty work, i notice nothing of the sort... But I do see that the suspension problems are for owners with early VIN#'s.

OH and furthermore, I don't experience "tire feathering" after the warranty work either.
