What about the details on the performance from the test drives? Pretty much vague ones so far. Do like a 0-60 or something.

Maybe a stupid question but I've looked all over and can't find an answer. Do they still have Silverstone as a color for 07? I didn't think so but it would be great to replace my hood with a matching hood that would allow my plenum spacer without hood spacers, .

Nah, they axed Silverstone and replaced it with Carbon Silver... somebody over at Nissan has a crystal ball and saw that you wanted to do this and scrapped that color just to **** you off.

Its also much heavier then the '05-'06?

My apologies if my info is incorrect, I only briefly looked at the website.

Cheers,

dont forget the new SAE rating, i would say the new motor is making around 16-20 hp over the old non and rev-up engine.

And thats at a redline thats 500 higher. So it technically is quite a bit faster than the old one. Sub 5 second 0-60 is my guess. 4.9..4.8 with a 13.5 at 106 quarter mile

Ok, Ok, wow, yes the hood really does need the hump in it, when I lifted the hood for the first time that engine is literally stuffed under there and its very very tight, theyve had to relocate a whole mess of things under the hood to fit that new plenum in. Also I will take my camera with me tommorrow and snap some pics of the san marino blue.

As far as leaving my 05 behind......................well. Lets just say that if you could buy a brand new enthusiast at invoice minus 200 what would you do?

Im having one of the salesmen see what he can work me up over the weekend and were talking on monday. The chances of it happening? I dont quite know yet, but if I could make it work, well hell, a 5 minute ride down to the gas station to fill it up was enough to sell me LOL.

you guys probably still have a lot of 06's on the lot still leftover from the year-end clearance sales. hawaii sold a lot of Z's last month, and I think they ordered the 07's last month as well, which is why they came so fast.

You're right, just about everybody I called had 06's in stock still. One guy in the bay area even mentioned that there's a 4k markup ontop of the MSRP for 350Z's on his lot. LMFAO!!! I guess I won't be buying there in this lifetime, lol.

your far from right , the Z doesnt look like its gonna be FI stock for a while . I believe it will draw to much from the GTRs debute. The hood bump is common knowledge due to the engine being raised with the duel throttle bodies etc. The vq35de is already sitting way higher then the Previous Z engines more displacement the more space is needed. Im preety amazed on how V6 tech is cming away since there making more hp and tq then ever before. With FI i mean the HR is going to be a impressive sight. Makign my revup jealous . will this deturr me from changing my revup to a HR. No because technically speaking FI will still yeild reg Vqs 400rwhp none built. I mean to me theres no point in me benefiting from it due because thats my future rwhp goal. HR or not its already attainable with the current vq on stock internals.

as a business if you have 06s in the lot why would u bring out the 07s which 80% of the motor is different thus takign away from the less knowldged customer would would want the new and improved. They would lose out on the limited edition runs on the revups.
