It was a joke. But maybe doing that is watching out for the GF's satisfaction.

By the way, what's with the capital letters? Regular font is too small for you to see or is your caplock broken?

^^^hahahha gotta love that analogy right there.

But yea, I learned this lesson when I let my hb "test" drive my accord. Freakin punk left a dent on my front lip and said oh it was already there. Never again did I let ANYONE touch my car except my dad who drive extremely careful....and my gf who NEVER touches my car unless I'm in it.

Even friends with nice cars I dont let drive it. If my friend has a M3 and I got a Z. A few marks on his car will probably cost twice as much as a few marks on mines. So no thanks, I'd rather baby my own and if i leave marks, at least i know it's my irresponsibility. I'd hate to have to fck over my friends...but for a $800 front lip along with all the hassle. I'd have to do it if they dont pay me back within a month.

threads like this make me want to . just because your friends drive a nice car, that don't mean crap when it comes to your car. if you let them drive it and it got messed up, no one is at fault but you and you alone. if you was looking for sympathy for your ignorance i suggest you look elsewhere, because you are not getting it from me.

How old are your friends? just curious...oh, and if you still haven't figured it out, they're full of sh*t when they say they don't know what happened..

I let my Ex g/f, sister, and friend test drive for a little bit. They're all good drivers with no accidents since they got their license so I was ok with it. Plus, I let them feel the power difference with their cars and help them understand why the Z is the best all-around car today. Let's just say, their reaction when they got out of the driver's seat was, "Wow!!!"

i think there was a thread on here a few months back, asking for everyones opinion on if they would let there friends drive there car.

i say hell no without me in the car. i let one of my friends test drive it one time with me in the car just around the block for a few minutes. that was it. since then i've never let anyone drive it, and i never will.

Based on your statement, you can't be too surprised about what happened to your car.

Let my bestfriend drive me home in my Z on new years... yah I was beyond thrashed. He drives a spec V and after he drove it he said he no longer wants a Z because he would get himself killed. *shruggs*

to be honest, the only person i have let drive my Z is my wife. of course she is german and was raised on the autobahn, so she knows how to drive my car properly I did let my 16 year old daughter drive it a short trip to the store one day and she doesn't want to to do it again (too much power for her)
