The 1st song you will pop in in your new Z !?
that's a tough one because there are so many different ways to go... but off the top of my head:
and your bird can sing-the beatles
the weaver-paul weller
pressure drop-toots and the maytalls
bean pie-sonny phillips
guns of brixton-the clash
down in the tubestation at midnight-the jam
any james brown, circa 1969-1975
any bob marley
well, I suppose I've got atleast 2 months to pick 1 of the above tracks...

I like the Bad to the Bone call for sure. Also, I think the lyric-free "Summer Song" by Joe Satriani is perfect for ZZZZipping down the highway (at below engine break in speed of course).
There are a lot of great choices and I have been vacillating between so many over the past 7 months. I like Sammy Hagar's "Can't Drive 55", also "Bad to the Bone" or Boston's "We're Ready" (for fun how about "Time Warp" from Rocky Horror Show) but now I think it will be "SMOOTH" by Santana.

IMO, when I buy a new car, the first song you play is the theme for that car. If this were a Vette, I would play the Kravitz version of "American Woman". If it were a Hummer, I would play the "Flight of the Valkeyries" (sp?)

Of course a Chevy Pickup would have "I am a Man of Constant Sorrow" by the Soggy Bottom Boys on the "Oh Brother, Where Art Thou" soundtrack

Tom Jones might have sang it, but he does that with lots of songs. He doesn't write most of his own songs. It's not that important anyways because he puts his own spin to the song like he did with "Kiss" after Prince had released it.
IF...I ordered a Brickyard Z, it would have to be Deep Purple, Highway Star.
But, I didn't, SOOOOOOO, it's got to be..........
Dimples
Duane Allman vintage Allman Brothers, written by James Bracken/JOHN LEE HOOKER.
Gotta Drive them blues away!
