Question warranty info

I got a pretty much stock z 6 speed, Borla True dual kit, and a new set of 18's, you know gotta keep the warranty. Just wonderin what voids the warranty. I want to upgrade a little more like intake, intake manifold, and underdrive pulleys stuff like that what can I get away with....

From what I have read, unless they can prove that the mod you made caused the problem, they can't void the warranty for that part. So even if a mod was found to have been the cause, they won't void your entire warranty, they just won't cover the effected part. So if you go FI, don't go to nissan for your engine problems.

**** the warranty... its not like your doing extreme mods. Once you start doing internals and FI thats when you should worry about the warranty.

+1 ^^ This would be correct, unless Nissan can prove that your
mods have directly caused your car to have problems then the warranty will
be void. I had them try to tell me the other day that my "Cold Air Intake" maybe a problem if my car was having oil issues. I told the tech ummmm you do know that Nissan produces the car with cai's? I was like you work here you should know that. It's bs they are trying to feed you, don't take it, I told the idiot that its just a high flow filter. I was like what F ing difference would it make if I had dropped in a high flow filter from K&N in the stock filter box????????

ya its bull**** what the dealers do. i had them try and tell me that my entire exhaust system had to be replaced because the wires were crimped on an oxygen sensor and that somehow that showed i had modified the car with aftermarket parts.

in all actuality, they installed DC sport headers and put the oxygen sensor in themselves.
