Default 2007 GRAND TOURING models won't be available

My local dealership told me that the 2007 Grand Touring models won't be available in the state of CA, NV, and AZ. Has anyone else heard of this? Perhaps the dealer is just pulling my chain to sell me a Touring model??

ANyone??

Did they give you any explanation? I can't imagine emissions being any different on that model from the others. Stevens Creek Nissan by my house has like 20 '07 Z's, and not one is a grand touring... I thought that was pretty weak but this is news to me.

try nissanusa.com and use your zip to search for the model you want using the Build my Z option.

Dealers suck. Most of the time the consumer knows more about the cars than they do.

That is truly the scary part too. I have also heard the service department telling the customer they needed something replaced that did not even exist on their car. You just can't trust the dealer. Just do the homework I guess and go there and ignore most of the crap they try to throw our way.

I know those of you with $$$ will probably find this point stupid...

Why are so many rushing to buy the new 07 350z???

I completely understand the new additions to the car that make it more appealing and what so many of you are looking for, however...

I'm sure most, if not all, of you have watched the STEEP drop in resale value on these cars. I just bought my DB Z perf w/ 30k and warrenty for 16500...

I don't understand why most of you don't wait 6-8 months, let someone else eat the instant off-the-lot depreciation and possibly buy the car for 1000's less w/ only 7-11k on it???

I plan to purchase the new GT-R when it arrives but I won't be purchasing it new off the lot. I'll wait patiently and get a good deal.

just my

What idiots! Tell them you will happily take your business elsewhere. No point working with such ignorant dealership staff anyway. I like how they strategically named the states around CA so you wouldn't consider going there to buy the car.

How do they come up with this stuff!

Idea: Go to Performance Nissan in Duarte and buy your car.

The rear looks a little naked to my eyes.
I am accustomed to the 350 infront of the Z.
Just looked at 07, says Z

Must be getting ready for the 370
