I would say the age of the Japanese Supercar is dead. They were super when the R32 GTR was smoking Ferrari's, Porsche's and the like around circuits and such, but since Japan limits the horspower output of it's cars, they fell behind as the rest of the world kept piling on the power.

didnt the japanese automakers finally get rid of that "agreement"? i read somewhere.... hmm... not sure maybe car and driver or one of those mags like a year ago. cuz if the new gt-r has 286bhp then its gonna suck! but it is also known that many of the cars had 286 on PAPER, but when people dynoed r34 gtrs they would have much more power stock...

The Z looks a ton better, handles better, and best of all, gets more "respect" if that matters to you.
Ask an SRT-4 driver which one of the 2 cars he would choose if he had the money, and I assure you the majority would have chosen the 350z.
