Default Does your window actuator need to be replaced?

...some of you might remember a post a while ago about the driver side window not going down as far as the passanger side window when the door is open. I got a few responses from people saying they had the same "problem" and one person said they took it in to the dealer and they ordered and installed a new window actuator. After hearing this, I decided to bring it to the dealer's attention, and sure enough, they determined the same thing. So they ordered and installed a new actuator. Now, I know my door still closed fine, but it was pretty close. I was just afraid that it might deteriorate a little more over time and eventually not quite go down far enough. Thus, if any of you out there have this particular situation, you may want to bring it up to your dealer. It only took about an hour.

yup... that was me who had to have it replaced... they replaced it and now it works great, but I too am wondering if over time it will "loosen" again.

Also... my passenger side is now starting to do the same thing....

gonna take it in in a couple weeks.
