At first I was a little upset that I just killed an animal. Then when I pulled over and say my front end, I was ready to turn around and go find that cat so I could kill it with my bare hands!

The statement above sure does not seem to match the screen name (or what it implies)

Now don't git yur panties in a bunch......just jerkin yer chain

If you think about it, when a cat runs it can easily do around 25 miles an hour. So imagine out of the corner of my eye I see something small and low running towards me from the left. Evasive maneuvers? Ah, I turned the wheel to the right but there are cars parked along the street and a curb. Hardly much time to react and, UNFORTUNATELY, I hit him.

The time in which it all occurred was faster than it takes to read this sentence. I ain't kiddin'.

Christian88, you did what you could and you did nothing wrong...

Appreciate that. Thanks for seeing it the way it was. You know, you have less than half a second to respond when it runs out of the complete dark into your field of vision. Didn't know we had so many drivers on here with "cat-like" reflexes that could have stopped within 2 feet, pet the cat, and then fed it some milk before driving away. Thanks for the support.

You know, I think I'm gonna take the original post down. It was put up just to show off the damage that I had, and within the following week, had fixed. I figured people, especially Z-enthusiasts might wanna see the pics and be glad it wasn't their car. Instead it became a debate at a PETA meeting. Just let it go...

At least now you can tell your friends you've actually gotten ***** in your car.

(I can't believe nobody used that one yet.)

LOL! my friend's JDM lip on his Honda Accord breaks ALL the time because of a cat running across the street. He broke his lip at least 7 times in the past 3 months! The picture reminded me of his JDM lip torn apart on his JDM lip hit the cat.. hahaha!

I don't think it's the fact that you ran over a cat, it happens all the time. I think the way you said "why I'm a dog person" and than told your story. I think you're pretty lucky it wasn't a dog you hit...most likely it would have been much worse!
