Why do you attempt to put words in my mouth? I never said be afraid or even implied it. Just stating that alot of people think that with the MM act they have no worries. You implied this with your post. I simply pointed out that if anything ever comes up that it is an uphill battle. To imply that all one needs to do is wave a piece of paper or mention the MM act will cure all woes and force a dealer to comply is just silly. I have come up against this several times in the last 30 years and even when in the right it is an uphill battle. To lead someone to believe that they can freely mod and not worry about warranty issues is fantasy.

Your words:

"If you mod it they will find a way to void the warranty.

...you will need a lawyer."

Sure sounds to me like you're saying there is no point in even requesting repairs if you have any mods.

No; sounds like reality.

Your words: "Don't confuse them with the facts"

I choose not to banter with an individual that hears only what he/she wishes . See ya!

Do whatever you want. Nissan will not stand behind anything and will do all they can to tell you it is normal!

Realx, dude, I was joking! It's just that I have seen hundreds of these threads over the last 3 years on all of the forums and IMHO people are just way too paranoid, unless they have gone forced induction in which case they have no case with drivetrain problems. Point is, that nothing "voids" a warranty - your mods are not going to affect the most common problems such as window motors, axle clicking, etc. My '03 has had exactly 2 issues and I drive the **** out of it. Enjoy the ride!

i dont plan on doing any hardcore mods to the car so if they try and tell me that the jwt popcharger, test pipes, y pipe, or swaybars, or torque dampener is causing extreme problems with the car i'll pull bs. i'd probably just take off the popcharger just cuz it's easy and could screw with the MAF, but other than that i cna think of any logical argument they could possiby have for a problem. i dunno, im starting to regret purchasing the extended warranty because altho i havnt dealt with nissan much, i already have very little faith in it
