you get a 350Z because you want a sex appeal sports coupe that turns heads everywhere it goes. you get a G35 because you want something more luxurious and comfortable but can still let loose when it wants to but can also support a baby seat. i also believe the 350Z gets better gas mileage than the RX8 while making 300hp while the rx8 is making a mere 238hp and gets 15mpg on a good day

I was really close to buying an Acura TL. Then I thought of the G. Thing is, my friends have those cars. When I was in the TL I never thought of it as something I could love. You just sit in it and drive it. Couldnt even imagine enjoying washing it myself. Something abuot a sports car makes more of a connection to me. But thats just me.

Why didnt you buy a mazdaspeed 3 or mazdaspeed 6?

 

Yes, overall the 350z is better then the RX-8. In my opinion the biggest problem on the 8 is the rotary motor. Power and fuel economy is terrible.

Well, I wanted (another) sports car, so I got the Z.

But if i had really wanted quiet 4 door luxury car, maybe I would have bought a G35 sedan.

IMO, the Z has a "rawer" edge and tighter suspension while the G 35 is a more refined vehicle.

Go drive both & see which fits you better. I like the Z better but a large part is the looks. Car performs great but I was sold on looks the first time I saw it.

 

Go decide for yourself! Stop trying to get everyone to hold your hand...sometime in life you will have to grow up and make the big boy decisions all by yourself.

 

Do you want an 2007 Escalade, or a 2007 Denali? Do you want an Audi 1.8T, or a VW Golf 1.8T? Some people just can't figure out how simple life is.

 

Which brings me to the other question, since both cars are identical in specs. One just feels "faster" you take both cars to the track and their times will be the same I bet. Maybe a second off??


I guess, what I am going for here, is as a potential buyer of the 350z I am alittle disaapointed. That a sedan and sport car are really just as fast.
