i was slowly rolling down the street and passed by this lady pushing a stroller with a little 1 yr old baby girl in it... the baby literally got slackjawed and stared at the car while i passed by. i thought it was my imagination so i glanced in the sideview mirror when and the kid was twisted out of the stroller looking back at the car...i couldnt stop laughing. damn kid has great taste!

I find that not only kids dig my car but older guys who have to drive family sedans and SUVs seem to gawk at my car...The attention is cool but I'm the type of guy who likes to glide under the radar .(I'll have to get used to it I guess)

You always get the purest reaction from kids. No matter how crappy of a day you're having, a kid stares at your car and you feel good inside.

As far as guys in minivans, it always makes me smirk when I'm at a stoplight and there's a guy in a minivan with his family. He always looks down at ya with that "damn, wish I was in that car" look on his face.

Best comment I overheard was actually from a high school student. I coach lacrosse and one of the kids walked by my car, which was totally stock at the time but totally detailed down to polishing the wheel liners...He says hi coach and then as he walks away he turns to his friend and says, "damn, he must get some serious as* in that car." I had to burst out laughing! Never heard that one before that! but it definitely gives you a nice high!

Actually happened to me yesterday, some kid in a van was watching me as i was driving next to them, he would turn around in his seat to stare at me. Made me think of when i was little and i would always try to get guys with cool cars to get on it for a sec, so i jumped on it for a couple secs...he freaked out.

The little kid thing is funny! My gf and I were leaving Baja Fresh when I saw this kid going to touch my car (blk and freshly Zaino'd), his dad abruptly stopped him. When we got near my car I heard the kid telling his dad that it was a Z. He seemed impressed? Since he was only about 5 years old I assumed he had just asked his dad what car it was and was just repeating what his dad told him.

Also at the same Baja Fresh on a different occasion, my gf and I were about to get in the Z when a father who was passing by with his wife and daughter stopped me to ask about the Z. He told me that he was a former owner of an older Z and he asked if he could look inside mine and check it out so I let him take a look..... The best thing about this was the uncomfortable look from his teenage daughter that showed how embarrased she was to have her dad stop some stranger to ask about their car.

Moral of this story is that if you want to get compliments about your Z you need to eat at Baja Fresh!

I thought this kind of thing only happens to supercars, but today proved me wrong.
Just thought I would share
I get the Kiddie stares too. I feel that I am doing my part in rasing the local youth of America by instilling in them that yes cools cars do exist and you will have one! HAHA!!!
