Default 2004 or 05 Model

Hi,

This might be old news, but went through the Managzine yesterday, saying that the model change about Z.

The open top as we all know will be in the NY Auto Show next week. Open top only cost about the smae cost just couple hundred or 1G more. Also they might be showing one more car or show in Tokyo Car show is the newer model Z which is VQ35 3.3 Turbo

yes.Is 3.3 instead of 3.5, as they refer as the best performance for now. later maybe go back to the 3.5 turbo but not now. also refer that engine might be use on GTR. however V8 will not be possible....

Just some info hope it helps
for those of u read the article is in Jap Magazine BC 4/10 edition

I don't think I could've waited 'til 2005. I guess I'll just try to have this thing paid off by then and try to get a knew one. Maybe by then they'll be a Supra to compare it to. If I do switch, the decision will be mostly based on whether or not a Targa or T-top option will be available.

When I heard about the RX-8 coming out, I entertained the thought of comparing the Z and it... that was before I actually saw it. There was no need to compare performance afterwards.

Turbo Z. Sounds good! Now all they need are T-tops and I'm in!

Where did you see an ACTUAL pic of the new Supra? There are tons of fakes around. Maybe one of them is pointing in the right direction... maybe none.

Default Targa 04 or 05 Model

I was alittle confused by your e-mail...Are you saying that Nissan is bringing a removable top version of the Z out?
I was in a dealer a few weekends ago and the sales person also said they're bringing a Targa top out in 04' or 05' but I wasn't sure what to believe. Can you confirm?

LOL... new not knew.

I really haven't seen any Supra's other than rumors. Haven't liked many of them, but I'd bet the final product is attractive.

Actually there is no real supra model available yet just concept and those will change pretty significantly.

You can see the R35 gtr concept which will be very different more resembling the r34.

Dealers usually aren't very accurate. They usually say whatever to get the sale TODAY, NOW, RIGHT NOW. lol But, I would love to see t-tops or a full targa top on the Z.

Ok, I am a little confused.

Are you saying that there will be a turbo 350z in 2005, or are you talking about turbo gtr in 2005.

Thanks,
X

Honestly we aren't SURE what we're getting. The GTR could be an NA V8 (even though I highly doubt it), or a TTV6. It WILL be shown this October at the Tokyo Auto Show. Then we'll see what we are getting in 2005, as far as GTR goes.

Some people think they will release the Turbo Z at the same time (not sure if one is even coming). I think that they would release a turbo Z as late as possible to the release date, because sales of the regular Z would fall flat!
