Oh my god......Just crashed my car!!
ouch! That axle man... I just had my axle fixed, bumper replaces and fender fixed and it came out to $9,000. Unless you know someone who will hook you up, it is going to be more than 10 thousand easy.

You got screwed then. It takes a hell of a lot of damage to cost $8000 in repair. For a rear hit you sould have to have a rear clip, total paint job, and working random parts of the body.

It was more a case of not being prepared, no insurance, no snow tires.
you shouldnt have driven without full coverage, you drive your car wherever and whenever you want, the Z drives fine in the snow if you creep, these idiots who wreck their Z in the snow cant drive properly, your mistake here was not having full coverage 1 and 2 obviously misdriving a RWD car in snow.
Damn dude!! That sucks!! I totaled mine about two weeks ago!! And yours looks worse.. The shop wouldn't even try to fix mine!! Atleast your ok. See if you could sell it!! Next time get insurance!!!
Im sorry, i never like to kick a man when he's down but the first post in this thread absolutely cracked me up. The OMG i just crashed and i dont have full insurance line accompanied with a snowy pic and a Z with rims on it.

BTW How much for the whole car 7-8k ?? (I've seen an 06 Base with minor front end damage for 10k - no mechanical issues whatsover, just some bodywork)

Well, I am thinking to sell the car without repairing it. Do you guys know who I can sell it to? Or if anyone is interested, just let me know. Thank you very much.
BTY, the engine and the interior of the car are not demaged and the car is less then 17 miles. Thank you for your help!

from the looks of i'd fix it, you can easily find a front and rear bumper on the forums, probably even fenders... i saw a shop in florida selling some in classified i think, i think a saw a door too, or you can go to a junk yard and get the rear axle and suspension parts and the body parts you need
all in all i don't think the cost is going to be much if you put in the work, car-parts.com is your friend, the hardest thing to do is probably find a shop that does decent work for a decent price
