Get a repair estimate before deciding anything.

Either way you are out $. Take it to a body shop and get an estimate then go from there!

There's a fair amount of panel damage and your air bags have deployed that will be expensive. Get some quotes from panel shops and then decide what you have to do for the best. Good luck. Must be a bit soul destroying.

wait, the dealership and the loan company let you take a car off the lot with something less than full coverage insurance?? they took a serious liability with you if this is the case. suck it up, pay the difference. after seeign the pics i doubt anyone will give you a decent price to pay off the car, so now you are double screwed. but that is just my opinion. you want to play, you gotta pay

I just put a set of toyo proxes 4 on my car and just drive through 2 weeks of snow. It helped alot, but it took some skills. Buy a beater or studded tires.
I can't believe driving a car like this w/o insurance. If you can't afford to drive this car sell it, it looks like your short cuts will cost you more in the end. Thank god you are not hurt. The Z looks like it has saved lots of people in accidents.

That is at least 15K worth of damage. You are better off parting the car out and using it as a down payment on a new Z. Why the hell would you not have full coverage in an environment like that??

Glad you are ok, but you are insane.

Front, side, rear damage. Both driver's and passenger's side and curtain airbags deployed?

Yeah, you've tweaked it pretty good. I'm not going to rag on the fact you didn't have full coverage, but this one would cost a kidney and a ******** to fix.

Damn. Sorry to say it but you are screwed. Why would you ever not keep full coverage on a car like that?

You need to get at least three estimates and ask some questions. See if the body shop will work with you on the repair. Consider going on the classifieds section here and find some used parts to replace what was trashed. If you are at all mechanically inclined, a small amount of the work, like stripping body panels and the like, might help reduce some costs. You'll need pros to put your Z back together. Recognize you put yourself in a BIG hole and get ready to claw and crawl your way back out.

So I take it the car is fully paid for since you cant finance a new car and not have full coverage? ...and WHY on a car like that would you not fully insure it? hell any car thats not your beater should be fully insured, its not that much more.
