He was asking stock vs stock. Regardless, they are both great cars, but not in the same categories. One is a luxury car that seats 4, the other is a 2-seat Sports Car.

just exhaust and intake the auto arent as slow as people think they are i have a video on here racing a 06 rev-up i beat him up to about 115 then he started pulling because the rev-up are nice on top end and his is stick to.

 

He is talking about racing a 96 m3 not a newer one the newer ones are pretty fast and you will lose by a couple of car lengths with the newer m3's but nothing some mods cant help but a 96 thats a joke.

 

All cars being stock and equal drivers, a z will have a slight edge on the e36 m3 but will lose to the e46m3. The e36 m3 is my fav., its a great handling/quick car with classic bmw looks.

IIRC the M3 was a 95ish mph car. So a 350Z should be fine against them. I drove a 95 M3 to 92mph (IIRC) and a 14.8 and I missed 3rd gear for a brief moment.

my cousins have both the e36 m3 and the e46 m3. the Z should be able to take a stock e36 but it won't be able to take the e46 unless your Z has some mods or the m3 driver can't drive well at all.

 

An M3 will not beat a Corvette.

 

? What corvette are we talking about here? An E46 will stay right next to a C5 6 Speed and with a good driver, spank an Auto on the quarter mile. On a road course, you can forget about the C5 keeping up if it's not a Z06.. You might want to switch that post above to "An M3 will not beat a corvette z06".. That sounds better

New E46 M3 will put about 2 car lengths on Z.. That's pretty fast.
But for E36, you should have the edge.

 

Funny how someone who wrecks his car still thinks he can drive and beat your Z.
