Get real people. You drive a Nissan, not some exotic breed.

I like to park close to annyone that thinks they are special enough to park crooked or far away all alone. A car is a car, if something happens to it well that is why you pay for insurance.
I wuv mine too ---And I park in a normal spot with no probs
This thread as many, kinda got off the original point which was------If u do park all by urself, someone just HAS to park next to u ---- Personally I think its funny, that, for whatever reason, that happens

I already made some copies for my friends, lol.
Well, I usually try to get the corner parking spaces, and i stay as close to the wall as possible. But even like that somebody parks as close to me as possible, especially at Wall-Mart (WallyWorld)lol.

A small sportscar elicits a different "parking response" than a pickup truck. I drove a full-size Dodge Ram for the past several years, and very few people would park close to me. I think they were afraid that my truck would ding them. I've noticed people park closer to my Z than they did my truck.

Yes, I am a redneck. Yes, I go Wal-Martin'. No, other people don't bang my Z up any more than my pickup. Over two years and 53K miles, you can say I have been in quite a few parking lots, and more than one Wal-Mart and K-Mart. Three dings, and you have to look closely to see them. I have more damage from rock chips on the highway.

As I tell my friends, when you are in a parking lot, as a matter of survival you must presume that every other car is driven by a mouth-breathing, snot-drooling moron holding a "forty" in one hand and arguing on the cell phone with his meth dealer while smacking his "*****" in the front seat with the other, during which some kid in a dirty chocolate covered shirt and feces-loaded pants sits in the back seat yelling like a banshi.
I find it best to cut other drivers plenty of extra room for error.

you're an a@@ hole if you really do this (actucally, you probably are for just insinuating that you would do this)...as much as people on here get upset about this happening to their cars, I can't imagine someone on this board would actually do this to another's car. While we all enjoy the car, door dings and scratches happen. Believe it or not, every other driver isn't out to intentionally damage your car (if you haven't noticed lately, a lot of driver's are oblivious to everything going on around them). Have a good day.

I had a lady (at church) hit my car twice...while i was sitting in it with the windows down. The first time she said, oh i'm so sorry. Then she hit it again, i wanted to kick her door in, but i was in the Vette and the doors don't ding...they might get a little scratch or scuff but they don't dent(plastic)....so i just took a deep breath and let out a little wooooooosaaaaaaaaah and everything was better.
As for the people who get ready to "pay someone back" b/c they might have dinged their car, i have really wanted to sometimes (people parking their lx470 in the compact only spot at Nordstrom with less than a foot to spare between their TRUCK and my car) i just tell myself that they will get what is coming to them...K to the ARMA. <---helps me sleep better at night when i don't personally make someone pay for their mistake.

Nah I'm just kidding but you can understand our frustration sometimes.
hehe...my 'van' is an '05 ppw...
I really don't get worried (or frustrated) about where I park, it happens, like someone else said earlier, I have more rock chips than door dings...
As a driver of any nice car in a big city (or even a small one for that matter) I have bigger worries than a door ding (like getting spun out, and into a retaining wall, in rush hour, by a hit-and-run driver, in my last car).
