yup.. sorry, I was confused by your question because I believe all 350Zs have a pair of headers (they connect to a y-pipe). 3-1 on both sides. This link has a lot of good info.

The exhaust is unchanged in general design from all prior (03-06) Z's. Near equal length headers were added. The exhaust still has a y-pipe. It is not clear what Nissan means in the brochure regarding high-flow. I am sure that the near equal length header create more flow, but the brochure makes it sound like a larger diameter exhaust may also exist. We need some comparisons with the stock 03-06 catback.

My guess is that the exhaust is the same from the cats back. But I don't have enough confidence in that guess to look at changing out the stock exhaust yet . I am waiting to see if a new NISMO exhaust will be used for the 07...

^Edited my above posts for misleading info.

Two headers, y-pipe and single exhaust to the rear muffler which is one muffler with two outlets.

BTW I'd be surprised to see you lose power with these mods, but the question is will it be worth it and if they are compatible.
Doesnt the HR use an all new intake manifold design? I dont think a spacer or any plenum mod for the 03-06 will work. Shoot if u look at any vendors, no one has parts for the 07s yet. Pulleys might work... lets see if someone tries. I think the 1st intake mods we will see will be from JWT since they have the closest ties with Nissan.

To tell you the truth, i wouldn't do any of those N/A mods because i'm almost sure all of them will make you loose power. Get an exhaust as most, with test pipes. That can garantee u a pwoer gain. No need for an intake, just get K&N drop in filters.
Dont think drop ins would work either.

personally, i would do a 3.9FD + td exhaust + hfc...
i would think this would be the best way to start off a 07Z, since nissan didnt do it themselves for some reason (they did with the G though)

what are the results? We all know the engine is somewhat different, I wonder how much it affects the exhaust and if pre-'07 exhausts are worth it. Maybe there is more power available with a few tweaks to previous systems.

Yeah the NISMO exhaust came out at first with a different part number then was revised and now says it will fit the 07. However, the 2007 has two part numbers for a stock catback, one of which is the same as the 06 number. Jeff, have you figured out the difference?

We caught that as well... but we put both an 04 and an 07 stock exhaust side by side and they look exactly the same.

I "heard" that the 04-06 Nismo exhaust will fit the 07 with automatic but not manual tranny. This makes zero sense to me. My wife's is an 07 Roadster auto, and I'd like to confirm this.

So you have put 03-06 Nismo catbacks on both roadster and coupe 07s? Just wanting some clarification. If I can save some cash by getting a used one or a stock nismo 03-06 that's be cool.
Thanks,

03-06 pulleys DO NOT work. I ordered them from UR and they thought they would fit the 07. Very wrong, the single belt set up is different. They asked for pics to help start thier 07 development process. I sent them and they said they will resend my order when they get the new ones. I will post when they are out.
