I usually flash my lights. Mostly never get a response back unless they are modded

This must be a regional thing because in two years I've only gotten one returned headlight flash. Mostly people in Zs just mind their business and ignore you around here

i usually toss up the peace sign, but i will have to agree...i feel pretty stupid when the other driver just looks at you kind of weird. oh well.

haha, just the other night as i was driving home from work (on the 10w right before you hit the 15) a CHP pulled up right next to me (in the fast lane) and stayed right next me. i had my windows down and was hesitant to look his way, well...i finally did and he threw me the "thumbs up"....following that i waved back and he knodded then passed me up. thought that was pretty cool.

Don't let them make YOU feel stupid for doing the right and honorable thing. Their parents are the ones who should feel stupid for raising an emotionally scrambled dolt.

Unfortunately there are not many Z's here. I only see about 1 per week, but I always wave.

Last week in a parking lot I told a lady "nice car" as she was loading her Z. She looked at me and just kept loading. I figured she probably was carrying a sick load in her pants and was just trying to maintain her composure until she could make it home.

That too made me smile.

I just ignore everyone, due to the focus on looking for holes in the traffic to weave in and out of. I think its the best policy... last week i decided to look around and a older guy signaled to roll down the window and told me i drive like and a$$hole, I just simply told him to suck me to completion.

I had an old man road rage on my ***!

A little OT maybe, but I was on FM 1960 and this white haired old man in a Nissan truck was in front of me and just drifting from lane to lane, whenever he saw an opening, and never once touched his turn signals and cut me off twice. I pulled up beside him and told him "Turn signals aren't just for decoration anymore you stupid f***stick!!!"

He actually tried to either race me or catch up to me and "kick my ***," but he never got a chance. While the old fart was trying to roll down his window to yell something (no doubt very clever) back, the light turned green and I left him in my dust, with his mouth hanging open like a freshman sorority chick at her first frat party.

It was amusing, however, watching him running people off the road in my rear view mirror... trying to catch up to "that punk in the sports car." That pleased the court.

Z MANIA driving rule in effect 7/13/2006. I will not acknowledge any stock Z's on the road. If you wave to me, I'll wave back. If the Z sited has even after market wheels I will attempt to say hey. EVERY Z that has returned a thumb's up has been modified, and I think we are just more aware of other Z's.

I posted this last year, and it's still true today. I have yet to have a stock Z give me a nod, or wave, or even the finger to acknowledge me.

haha, i've thought about that too...but those who don't have a clue about it would be like WTF? and the crazy ones that don't know about it may try to follow and beat your a$$.

nonetheless, it would all make up for it if you find that one other forum member toss up the same sign.

that would be funny.

Stock Z's forget about it. I wouldn't expect them to recognize. However, I get especially disappointed when a modded Z doesn't respond to a wave or a high-beam.

I bet this will be much different when the GT-R drivers hit the road (like hopefully me). I bet the culture will be similar to the Corvette Wave. I also bet that GT-R drivers will more than likely acknowledge Z drivers.

Whats your definition of a stock Z, I don't have a body kit or rims. But on my GT i have Fastintention exhaust, intake, spacer, test pipes and ecu reflash.

Then I guess your car is not stock. You are running stealth. But I could probably hear the difference, and I could probably spot your tailpipes, right?
