Guilty. It's a habit now. Some folks wave back. Others look at me as though I am unstable.

Hehe, of course. And I'm not modelist, I wave to any Z, from 240 - 350.

I usually wave, and then feel like a huge d bag when nobody waves back.
I swear, most women are focused on whatever is dead straight ahead, and nothing else. (I'm female by the way hahah)

I do it ALL the time here in Miami but all these ******** here are way too cocky and just stare me down in their Z.

Meanwhile everytime i drive around in my bros STi they waive and flash their lights at each other signaling a brotherhood, while the Z owners are too stuck up to make a nice fellow gesture... sad.

Ive had 0 nice encounters with another Z

I always wave. Sometimes they wave back. The ones with deep unresolved childhood problems just kinda stare. I dunno why, but that makes me laugh. Does that mean I have unresolved childhood problems too? Because I am well aware that we are not supposed to take joy from the misfortune of others, but I really can't help myself.

I think it's funny.

Sorry.

Does that make me a bad man? At least I wave to strangers.

I always flash my lights, or give a thumbs up to other Z drivers . . .

So far, almost all of them return the greeting.

Like one big happy Z family . . . .

In 2003, before I got my Z, I noticed a 240Z and 300ZX waving/flashing lights.

The first week I had my Z, (Sept. 2004), I came across a Z and gave-and-got the wave.

Since then, I've come across maybe 20 Z's, and waved every time. I've only gotten one other wave back since that very first one...and that was from a 300ZX.

I'm going to keep waving. That rare chance that someone does wave back, makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.

i wave at other Z's when it's not a woman or when it looks like someone who doesnt take care of their Z, dirty z's, no upgrades, nothing, then i just keep to myself.

I usually look for eye contact first to see if they even acknowledge a fellow Z-driver. Then usually a wave or head-knod does the trick for me.

I wave, but I seldom get a response.

There were always too many Zs to do this, plus car dudes aren't like riders. Guys on bikes just about always wave each other (except Harley riders: I never knew if they were just too scared to let one hand off to wave, or just don't like guys on sportbikes). For motorcycles, it's like we all realized we were out on the road because we enjoy riding, whereas for car drivers, they're just trying to get to where they need to go.
