Thats what I am talking about... If he would be an honorable and reputable vendor he would have exchanged it... If its not bad like you guys say then he could have just sold it to someone else.... Shiet I would pay for the shipping and all

Im not being rude bro, I am just saying that there is a problem with the hood... like I said, it looks 10 times worse in person... So imagine how it gets me when you huys say no, thats normal... No thats not normal... i have had plenty of CF hoods before and never where they this bad... I am not a perfectionist by any means and usually settle with little dings here and there but this looks bad... trust me

If you look at the reflection of the house in the hood in the video, you can see some massive waves in the hood. I have no experience with Carbon Fiber hoods of any quality, but I would think for $700, the hood would maintain it's basic shape.
Regardless of the product quality, your complaint is with Jim's customer service. I do think sometimes people are impatient with vendors and push the wrong buttons, but without Jim's rebuttal we won't know the full story.

Hey if Jim would have told me it would take 2 months I would be fine but staright up avoiding me, not answering my emails, phone calls... Thats just wrong... then telling me there are no TS hoods in stock for 2 weeks when he is posting one for sale in the classifieds... Common

A month's wait of you calling or PM'ing every other day would be a long month.=) But that shouldn't affect customer service. I've been on the vendor side and sometimes the manufacturer leaves you hanging. Jim is probably a small enough operation that he can't or isn't willing to float the funds to keep hoods in inventory for these situations. Whatever the issue, it shouldn't be your problem, unless as you said, you had contacted him out of warranty, etc.

Looks wavy and distorted, definetly low quality!! Looks like crap, if you cant see the waves and the dip that is circled you need either new glasses or your eyes checked. Stock hood for me, FRP will be my choice if I decide I need to lighten my hood, easy to do body work and paint.

Not that I wouldnt be mad too, but there are two sides to a story and when someone starts freaking out is bad as you are it seems you are a customer that cannot be pleased. Just stating my opinion based on experience. Ive have also been waiting for over a month for my kit, 1 month is not along time to wait at all. Furthermore to my knowledge his Seibon products are drop shipped and not straight from his warehouse. He may have never seen your hood in person.
