I have tried alot of different angles and its just hard to capture on camera, well especially my shiety olympus... th evideo shows it best I think... But let m etell you in person, I could tell from a good 20 yards away... Looks horrible... And like I said, the hood being defected is not Jims fault... Now him ignoring me and not taking care of the issue is his fault...

I can definately see the imperfection's, not a very good quality CF hood. I would of asked for a refund/exchange for a better 1 too.

That looks terrible. If I was being ignored and felt that I was being stuck with a hood that looked like that I would be pissed too. $1700 or $700, he feels its not right and the vendor isnt going out of his way to make it right or at least defuse the situation, so this is what your left with. Nobody else has to like his reaction, he is the one stuck with the hood, the problem and the dent in his bank account.

That's a shame as i've been interested in getting the same one but for my G35. I see what you're talking about and should be taken care of. Hope you get it resolved. Don't take it to heart about these other opinions.

Whatever you do, by directly from a company not from a third party vendor like Jim... He obviously cannot handle being a reputable vendor...

I think your over reacting, if you want a perfect hood go get a TS hood or a INGS hood, but Ive had deals with JIm many times and Ive had nothing but good things to say.

You REALLY need to STOP taking LOW shots at people, even if you feel you were wronged. It really damages your credibility and makes you seem unreasonable and immature.

+1 Your hood does look bad. But you do usually get better service when you act like an adult Im guessing it hasnt been handled very well on your end and you have been name calling from the beginning. With the way you keep talking if i were Jim Id consider buisness with you a done deal. JMO

Unreasonable and immature??? I am warning people, just like sweatdreamz tried to do... Thats no low blo, its the truth... if I where a member looking for a Cf hood and I hear this story I would not buy from Jim duw to this... And this is the second time... I am actually doing everyone a favor... If you where in the market for a boat and a guy you know tells you that the customer service at a certain dealer is horrible and then another guy tells you the same, would you take your boat to that dealer... NO.. Thats what Im trying to do, just like when people complain about certain Nissan dealers... just giving my opinion and obviously others as well....

And I dont want a perfect hood Tay, just not one with a big *** wavy dent... And I want to be able to but from a company that will return my emails and phone calls when we have an issue... I have spent over 8k in my car and never had a problem with any of the parts or service.

Hey, I never insulted you Jackass... No need for name calling... BAX global, the shipping company could not ship to my house because no one was there to sign for it so I had to pick it up from the airport myself and the shipping company would not even let you open the box till you sign for it...The package comes wrapped pretty well... Its not something you can just see as soon as you open it. You can see it once its installed...

Another ***** just trying to offend me... Learn how to read through posts

Poor quality = replacement or refund.
Poor Customer Service = no repeat business.
see, read like this guy did... Even thow reading is not my strong point, even us "engineers" can do it... you should try it sometime FREAK

When someone describes themself as an "Engineer" they usually stipulate what type of "Engineer" they are or what they got their degree in.

BTW ... I do see the dent/imperfections.

It is one thing to run a business when everything is perfect. Orders come in, products go out. No problems.

A businessperson will always be tested when things are not going so well. Service after the sale needs to be just as important as trying to make the sale. This is where he seems to be having issues. I have no clue why he has to wait for someone to get back from Asia before taking care of your problem.

Reading this thread has certainly helped make some decisions for me. I now know which hood not to buy and which business not to by anything from.

I would not say he is not reputable, though, but when the going gets tough, it appears he does not get going. Not a good thing.

Even dealerships can't get customer service right.

If Jims going to ignore me and refuse to take this ball of shiet hood back, Im gonna pound(bash & let everyone know how he runs his business, not hit him like some clowns in here took it) him till he does.
