Default DIY: Tricked out *UPDATE PICS*

Well my Z is going on diy's tricked out. They are taking it March 1st and I won't have it back until March 10th. Doin an Injen CAI Intake, Injen Exhaust, Skunk 2 Plenum spacer, New strut bar, and Unorthodox Racing pulleys....All I have to do is pay sales tax next year when I file my taxes. We're gonna do the carography however it's spelled and photo shoot Thursday morning.

congrats. usually they do some pretty ricey things on some very ricey cars. The list you got there is going to be probably the best show they will have.

A guy contacted me about this time last year, and I sent him photos and a list of mods I would like to do, but I never heard back. Congrats on the free parts!

It's completely stock right now and that's what matt (producer) said they were looking for. They did my fiance's brother's scion a while back and he still talks with matt and matt was telling him they were gonna do a 350z and the guy they had backed out so he asked if he knew anyone who had one. I just got really lucky with timing. They r taking it from march 1st thru the 10th.. The only downside to the whole thing is they want some diversity with the show and they're wanting me to let my fiance pull up in the car and get out for the tv part because they've never had a girl. But with all the free parts I don't really care

The producer said they were "moving up in the world"...He said no more hondas and crap like that for them. He said they were gonna move up to the Z, lexus, and other expensive things.

They're keeping the car 10 days to shoot the install of a some simple bolt-ons that would take 3 hrs max? lol. Cool gig, though.

You might want to search on issues with the skunk2 spacer, some have reported it rubbing on the hood and unless they are using an APS, Crawford or Stillen strut bar, its not going to fit.

Free parts aren't worth much if you end up taking them off.

Here's a couple of pics if I can upload them....

Me and Andrew from the show. Yes I know I'm an ugly bastard and I don't take good pics.

I am going for the dyno runs tonight so I'll try to post more pics on sunday...
