Hi, I own a 2006 Z in PPW, and my girlfriend has a 2005 with the s-tune package. I was curious as to why are two cars seem to drive completely different. Her steering seems to be much tighter and harder to turn, where as mine does not. Her e-brake handle maxes out its pull at about 3 inches, where mine goes about 6. The only modifications I have as far as suspension goes is the eibach pro kit. Any thoughts on why they drive so different? Is it just due to the s-tune package, or are all Z's before 2006 this same way?
Thanks
Thanks

06 cars have speed sensitive steering..you e brake just needs adjustment!
the tighter the better i dunno i drove my freinds 2006 and i took a turn i take every daay in my 03 and i was able to make his front wheels slide out the wheel did feel loose like a luxury car compared to my 03 i didnt like it but im not sure what acutaly performs better it seems to feel not to handle as good
PPW's the problem. All the PPW cars ride like sofas!
seriously tho.. Are yout tire sizes the same?
My wife's 06 enthusiast and my 06 GT ride/drive much differently. Hers feels a bit softer, her low-speed steering takes less effort than mine yet her high-speed steering takes more effort than mine. My car stays more true to center in a straight line than my wife's
Her enthusiast has re040 with 225/45/18 front and 245/45/18 rear.
My GT has re050a with 245/40/18 front and 265/35/19 rear.
Not sure if it's just the tire differences. I think there's more to it than that.
I would think the s-tune suspension on your gf's car is the main difference.

Hmmm, I was thinking the s-tune had something to do with it. As far as our tires go they are the same, but mine has the OEM 18's.
Here's a picture of em

This was before I put the springs in though. I need to get some up-to-date pictures.

Ummm, this may sound stupid since i'm not sure, but I had the same rims that your wife has on her car and they were 17inch wheels...I didn't think they made the 7 spoke in 18"....are you sure of her tire sizes ?

You are correct, sorry about that, I meant the width was the same, but I believe her sidewall is larger. I'll have to get the specs for you. She has the 17's.

The kms/miles each car has driven, spec, setup, rims, tyres, hehe I could keep going. I've driven 16 x 350's from 2003 - 2006 all specs, each one has it's own little quirks, even if it appears to be the same.
What exactly is an S-tune package by the way?; no such thing from factory and her Z doesn't look like it has Nismo suspension unless the pic is playing tricks with my eyes.
