You need both wheels to do this properly, base just don't cut it. BTW they closed all Crispy Cremes here, F*ckers.

Everybody knows that tray-drifting is the way to go. For those who don't know, it's when us 350z owners with front wheel drive put Mc Donalds togo trays under the wheels and go from there

Base model Z's do not have limited slip, so you can't do dounuts or drift without some momentum....

while on the one hand, i love the fact that you guys are such assh-les. on the other, it sucks that no one give a straightforward, facts only, no joking answer. i'm sure there's a grip of people who'd love to know [YES MYSELF INCLUDED] what would prevent a car from doing this. some of us don't know much about cars, are learning, etc... but we're still enthusiasts too.

screw you all.

but thanks for the laughs

Here's the difference:

Base Model w/ no LSD: Donut
LSD Equipped: Drift!

More technical than that though, a donut is usually just a very tight circle with little drift. You have to have the LSD to really drift because it allows the wheel on the outside to rotate faster than the wheel on the inside in drift situations. Thus it is Limited Slip, it lets you do this to drift, but is limited so that your wheels aren't going crazy all the time. If you don't have LSD, then you cannot really drift because your rear tires will be going the same speed, which is not ideal as a tight "donut" or rotational drift has a larger diameter track for the outside wheel and smaller diameter for the inside wheel (again think about the 2 sides of a krispy kreme). So without LSD you can't really drift and are forced to jam a donut as tight as you can and it will probably not be very smooth, as well as cause terrible wear on your tires if you do it alot.

Why would you want to lose traction any ways?
