WO! I live in MD too and every dealership that I'd been to was HORRIBLE! Sue them! Sue them! I can't stand those stealerships hiring these lincoln tech drop outs to work on our cars!

Here's a flash. Your not going to get a judgement for "almost!!".

"Near death"....? he wasn't even injured.

No attorney would even consider taking a case like that.

Get your car fixed and get on with your life.

I'm sad to say I'm not surprised to hear stories like this. Wherever you go, you run into incredible incompetence. Unfortunately, with something like this, there can be dire consequences.

And a Tire Phobia. I see a future of uncontroled sobbing when ever he enters a Tire Store. Christmas will no longer be Hickory Nuts, but Lug Nuts, not roasting on an open fire but pelting him as he hides behind the Chistmas Goose, that turns into a taunting Nissan Wreaker. Mental Anguish for sure.

The dealer is negligent. Just fixing things does not cover it. The OP could have been killed. I am sure he is suffering from neck and back pains and would even go as far as saying this whole thing has caused him great mental distress.

I would sue the living crap out of this dealer!

For the purpose of public service, you should name the dealership.

+1......What are the damages. You must first have incurred some sort of damage, mentally or physically to you or your car in order to sue.

Like the poster in the quote said. Get it fixed and get on with your life!

OOHH I'm sorry your right, OP don't sue unless you are dead then you will have a perfect case.

Please do you work for the dealership or somthing this is very tramatic for someone to induer, I would sue I cant think of one lawer that would not take up his case. He was on the highway pulled over and his wheel fell of "yes this is near death" with pic to prove it. If it fell off on the highway he would have been killed easy he would have had no control of his car. OP Please sue you have a perfect case!

+1. This is the perfect case. I can't even imagine a wheel falling off. I would be scared to have that dealer ever touch my car again.

BTW, nice mods!

Not fun ---I was driving the Chicago Loop in 1975 with a friend and we saw a wheel pass us. Laughted our asses of till we abruptly relized it was ours. It actually stayed upright for a while ( ****** Jeep )

+1 also I would get nissan themselves in on this 1 because are they letting the dealership do this [having the car serviced at hyundi] ? it does sound like law suit time there is no excuse for this!!!

That's just plain ridiculous. They do owe you above and beyond just the repairs.

I bought my Nissan at Jones and live in Bel Air, I know better than to take anything even my bicycle there for service. Definetely do not leave your car there overnight either, state police station across the street makes it feel safe but they have nooooooo security whatsoever. Good luck getting everything taken care of with those ba$tard$.

Here is the update I went in this morning and they tried to pull good cop bad cop scenerio the manager was on my side with everything and the district manager was saying well we will fix what are mechanic says is bad????? So I went on a rampage I said your mechanic??? your mechanic was the one who thought my car was safe enough to give me my car back and then my wheel fell off. I told them either we can make this go to lawyers or you can just make right of the situation. I told them I want everything replaced in the rear and the district manager disagreed but the manager agreed. So I said fine you do whatever test you have to do but do not touch my car until I receive a call telling me what is so called damaged. So from here I guess I have to call my lawyer i will be posting pics at the end of the night.
