The dealer is just trying to sell you what's on hand, or the dealer has prejudged you as a female driver and an AT would be an easier sell to you. (If you are indeed a female that is). If you have driven both cars, make the decision based on how each one fits your needs, and not what the dealer or anyone here might say about it. There are a lot of hairy knuckles around here who only see it "my way or the highway", if you know what I mean. You can use the navi on the fly with either.

A root canal would be better than another manual vs automatic war.

Seems you've already answered your question. You didn't like the tiptronic? Get the manual.
+1. This is really common sense. You must be an idiot.

Bro, I have an aftermarket DVD-Navigation and a 6-speed manual, and have zero driving problems.

The dealer is trying to be a dumbass. Just get the manual.

For the last 4 years I have been driving a Eclipse with triptonic transmission which I didn't like. I testdrove the 350Z and both manual and automatic were excellent but I like the interaction with the car using the manual. The dealer says that I will not like the manual in the stop and go traffic here in Las Vegas and also the with the navigation system the manual will be hard to use. Can anyone give some feedback on this or is the dealer just trying to sell what they have on hand.
Thanks

Trish...i'm assuming you're a girl by that name...

Anyways

(Before I say anything let me just say no offense to you 5AT owners)

You want to buy a 350Z in it's most expensive trim. Why waste all that money and get an automatic? Make the most of it and get a manual. You said you drove a manual before...why lose all that experience with an automatic? Besides you said you didn't like the automatic Eclipse. You pretty much answered your own question. Oh and I say **** what the stealership says and get a manual. It's a ******* sports car...what the hell do they know?

Why are you even asking this? You should know the answer already.

Long story short: Get a manual and don't ever ask a question like this again. Peace!

Trish , get what you want. It sounds like you like the manuel better so get it. The traffic in vegas really isnt to bad , i'd rather be in traffic with a car that i'm happy with than a car i dont really care for. Stick or auto doesnt make it hard to use the nav, the crazy *** drivers here in Vegas do.
