Default Warranty concerns..

I own an '03 Track with 50K+ miles. I bought the car as a Nissan Certified Pre-owned.

I am aware that my powertrain warranty will expire at 60k miles / 5years.

My questions on extended warranty.

1. If I plan to keep the car for another 3 years, what is the most reasonable warranty you can offer for that frame of time?

2. How much? Can this be financed monthly like how you pay your insurance?

3. What is the coverage?

I'm looking forward that at least one of the Nissan dealer representatives answer this.

thanks!

<---- '03 touring 40,000 miles, i've been wondering the same! I think with all the '03s coming up on the end of the powertrain warranty, we'll be seeing alot of these posts.

extended warranties are different if you purchase one that is a nissan vs outside company. they have 0 deductable, 100, 200, and so on...the less deductable the higher the price...the less miles left on the factory warranty the higher the cost to purchase...anyways you have to go to a finance person not a parts person for pricing
