What year is your track? i have an 06'. Maybe you can build up your Z, it may be better and faster than a 300zx

I have an 03 track. The 350z cost to much money to make fast. even though the 300zx is more ugly, I just like it so much more. If i had an extra $5k laying around then I would buy a kit, but I dont.

Do whatever is best for you, if you want to go back to the 300zx, then do it.

b00b00, I'm also from Fresno. Trust me, the 350Z is WAY faster than the ZX. Have you tracked your track model? I'm talking Buttonwillow or WSIR, not Famoso or CMI. Even autocross, the Z33 is superior to the Z32.

Oh really? Someone from Fresno! No I havent taken it to a Track. Not to sure of my driving skills! I never run into 350z owners. I see them driving around, but they never really say much at all. I always wanted to have a lil meet.

I've tried to keep up with the many Z32 TT in my club, and there is no freaking way that the Z33 NA is going to keep up. OK maybe with a boatload of mods such as cams, pully's, headers, exhaust etc but otherwise, those TT will kick your a$$.

This is true. I am N/A and last night I ran against a Z32TT. No matter how hard I tried he was always 1/2 car length in front. We hit about 145 mph and I still coundn't pull. BTW, street racing is bad and illegal!

Dude, we are going to take you out for a little learner's course! I'll show you some three-pedal, and line of sight setup. You'll fall in love with the Z33 all over again! What are you doing in 2 weeks (3/24/07)? Central Valley Z.org Fresno chapter meets every 4th Saturday of the month. We could do that or hang out with my brother's S2Ki group.

You're talking straightline speed. Anything can go fast in a straight line. Where's the excitement?
Stock for stock, the Z33 will kill the Z32 in a corner.

I really don't think this guy is looking to be like a 16 year old and want the fastest car on the road.
It seems like he has more of a love of the car and passion for the Z itself.
My mom drives and '89 ZX, non turbo obivously, and I'm the one with the new Z. Personally, I like hers more than mine.
I don't know why everyone thinks they are driving a racecar all the time. Relax.
