I don't know what the big deal is. I believe there's a trend going on since the '07 Z came out. If you look at the new V8 M3, it also has a bulge on the hood. I haven't hear anyone complaining about that.

07 owners got humped, dry and hard. The profile really does detract from the otherwise beautiful lines of the Z. Just give it two years and you will see that Nissan will stop humping all the Zs.

I gotta say the hood grew on me when i seen it in person. Plus who cares what other people think the hood gives it a more aggressive look plus the growl of the hr motor. Nissan did it right this time between interior and the new motor.
