When I am purposeful pushing the limits of the car and I see gravel/water/whatever on the turn, I actually start steering away from the turn and wait for the skid. Anticipating the skid helps in avoiding a spin out. If I am not trying to drive at 9/10ths, then I get on the brakes and slow down!
The Z has plenty of traction stock. If you take your car out to a autocross event you will probably get nauseated before you lose traction on low speed turns. I see a similarity between cars and planes here. Take your plane into a severe turn and you may stall (fall out of the sky). Take your car into a severe turn and you may drift. The key is knowing how to recover.

ya i hit the gas too much, i mean if i was on the track thats one thing, but i was just trying to go home so it was very unexpected. but ya i definetly need to learn how to recover better
