The 350Z has high insurance rates.

I've been involved in a few accidents... No matter what the police officer said, the accident was either my fault, the other driver's fault or a combination.

I hope you get your car repaired soon.
Not really, the Z is relatively low in value but is considered a sports car. just like any sports/performance car with high horsepower, it will be above average but also depends on what kind of driver you are. I used to pay $80/month on my Z while I was in VA. That rate doubled in AR.

Yeah I can feel your pain. It looks like you don't have any frame damage which is the important thing. It's only cosmetic, B pillar skin, new door, driver quarterpanel so the car should look exactly the same. The door might not close exactly like it was brand new but that should be the worst of your issues (should seal fine/keep out rain).

I guess you did not have a drivers side airbag in your car?

Ouch. That's never gonna be the same again. You may be a wrestler, but you sure aren't much of a driver to be spinning out making a right hand turn.

Airbags or not, the Z's crushable safety zone prevented what would have been a potentially lethal injury. With all the accidents that are posted on this site, I think the jury is in: the Z is a well-designed, SAFE car!

All due respect to your training and fitness, your Z took this bullet for you.
Now you need to consider upgrading your accident avoidence and driver training skills to prevent it from happening again!

I feel you, I lost control on a country road and hit a telephone pole in my 03 Z! My pride/ego was hurt more than my body. The Z saved my life and sacrificed it's own life.. Life moves on, I bought a O5 Z and been more carefull. Tracktime is the next step for me. So glad to see you are alright. Painfully the Z will be alright in the hands of a good bodyshop.

Sorry for your car man.

You guys are unbelievable. A cop gives a pep talk to a kid who just crashed his car to make him feel better, blaming the car instead of telling him what a noob and an idiot he is for crahsing his car. And you guys still find a way to give crap to the cop...

You guys have serious issues with authority.

Its possible to tweak the suspension for better handling. Plenty of suggestions in the racing forum. Before altering the car, I suggest that you sharpen you skills including HPDE and autocross.

Fix the driver first. Then the car.
