im not buying the civic, already have a deposit on the '05. but my friend has the si. Sux for him! yea i agree with you, the z beats it in all departments. the only thing good about the si is probably the feel of the transmission and shifter.

So if you are already buying a Z, why are you so set on trying to say the SI will beat it??? We, the ones that have owned our Z's for years, have all given you un-biased facts of why the Z is quicker, and you still doubt us! I think you should get an SI, since apparently that is where your faith is. Let someone that will appreciate the Z buy it.

I've ran a 06' Si from a stop, roll, 1/4, and top end. The Z will destory it, Bad.

I've driven both cars and the Z beats the Si in every performance category. However, the Si does come with backseats if you need them, a trunk, 350Watt stereo with sub, mp3 player, Ipod plug, moonroof, etc which the Z doesn't. and IMO, the Si's shifter feels alot smoother than the Z's.

to sum it up, Z=sports car, Si=sporty car that doesn't sacrifice everyday conveniences.

 

Guys should I get a Z or a Ford F-550? Which will be faster around an auto cross course?

 

i dont need trays and i can do that all day long.
